 Born 10/18/41 to E.E. Hubbard and Marie Barnes Hubbard. Educated in the Bardstown School System, where he got to play ball for the legendary football coach Garnis Martin. B.S and J.D. degrees from the University of Kentucky. Joined Fulton, Hubbard & Kelley on May 1, 1967 and became a partner January 1, 1968. Been at the same location ever since. Concentration on criminal defense, personal injury, family law and utility law. Representative clients Mago Construction and Salt River Electric Cooperative Corporation. Member American, Kentucky, Nelson Bar Associations, American and Kentucky Justice Association Married to Judith Delle Whitesdies Hubbard on 12/30/66. Children are John Douglas Hubbard II, Brentwood, Tennessee and Char Marie Rhoads, Owensboro, Kentucky. They have six grandchildren. Numerous civic and community organizations and offices therein over the years including Nelson County Jaycees, Kiwanis, Bardstown Foundation for Excellence in Education, Mayor’s Advisory Committee, Bardstown Historical Commission, volunteering with Bardstown athletics and many fund raising activities. Statewide served as legal Counsel for Kentucky Jaycees and on the Kentucky State School Board. He was elected to the Bardstown High School Athletic Hall of Fame and named one of Nelson County’s Outstanding Citizens. |
